Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: 2026 • Applies to all Rosebud Taxi phone, app & online bookings.
1. Booking Fee
A $2 AUD booking fee applies to all bookings. This fee is non-refundable in all circumstances and covers dispatch and administrative costs.
2. Instant / On-Demand Bookings
- Before Driver Dispatch: Free cancellation with no fee.
- After Driver Dispatch: A $10 AUD cancellation fee applies once a driver has been assigned and is en route to your pickup location.
3. Pre-Booked / Advance Bookings
- More than 3 hours before pickup: Free cancellation with no fee.
- Within 3 hours of pickup: A cancellation fee of 50% of the estimated fare applies.
- No-Show: If you are not at the pickup location at the scheduled time and do not contact us, the full estimated fare will be charged.
4. Advance Booking Window
Bookings are accepted up to 90 days in advance. This is particularly useful for weddings, airport transfers, corporate events, and other planned travel across Mornington Peninsula.
5. Refunds
Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days back to your original payment method. Please note that the $2 AUD booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances.
